Getting Regular !

40 day journey starting August 2nd 2010.

Okay, this is not about taking your fiber or Activia nor any kind of program to make you eat vegetables. Its about building a growing vibrant relationship with Christ through regular daily times with Him.

As we build up to " The Story" (going through the Bible during the 2010/2011 school year), I believe God wants us to prepare our hearts that His truth can be sowed in good soil (our hearts). This starts with us making time to spend with Christ, offering ourselves and getting into the habit of meditating on scripture. I want to encourage you to listen to the sermon on meditating on scripture as a refresher.

Lets start with setting a regular time and place (if possible). As I pray, I keep believing that God really wants us to start here - getting regular.

Please e-mail me with the testimonies of what God is speaking and doing in you - it will be great to encourage each other as we live God's call together.

Today, meditate on the scriptures and insights God showed you through out the week. Specifically, meditating on where your heart is in regards to each days topic.

Write them down (we are prone to forget) and ask God to lead you through repentance (choosing to turn around and go in the direction God has for you). Also ask God to fill you with His Spirit as you yield to Him.
